Liquid VCO
Manufactured by the pioneer of virgin coconut oil (VCO) production, our organic Nature’s Gift ® Liquid VCO is guaranteed to be 100% pure and organic. It is cold-pressed from only the freshest selection of coconuts, without any additives or chemicals.
VCO naturally has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties attributed to its high lauric acid content. Claims that VCO is unhealthy due to its high saturated fat content is misleading, as the saturated fat content of VCO is mainly in the form of lauric acid, or a type of medium-chain fatty acid (MCFA) or medium-chain triglyceride (MCT). What is being referred to as unhealthy is what is found in the usual human diet, both saturated and unsaturated long-chain fatty acids (LCFA).
Suggested daily intake is 1 tablespoon per 50 kg body weight per day, after meals. Alternative uses of VCO include light cooking, mixing in salads, baking, rubbing on skin and hair, and more.
Unlike regular VCO, Liquid (Winterized) Coconut Oil DOES NOT SOLIDIFY in cold temperatures.
